In April 2021 i acquired my first Ministerial album from NDH , they are very rare . Although this is not a Feldpost as a philatelist i find it very interesting and will share it on the Blog.

01.06.1944 card from Varaždin to Fp.59099-D which is 3.company, 2nd.Ausbildungs Bataillon, Kroatische Ausbildungs Brigade in Stockerau. German censor cancel is seen even on front side. Croatian post marked postcard with a letter T meaning postage due was to be paid but ignored by Feldpost service.
There are 2 very interesting things about this card are:
1) adressee it titled Ust.Mirko Biondić, Ust. being short for Ustaša , such title is rarely seen on mail to Kroatische Ausbildungs Brigade.
2) sender note his adress as 4.sat. Oklopni sklop PTS-a , meaning 4.company, Armour battalion(sklop) of PTS - Poglavnikov Tjelesni Sdrug or "Poglavnik Bodyguard Brigade" which was Ustasa militia most elite military unit.
Mail from PTS is extremely rare !!
12.08.1917 card from 23.Schutzen infanterie regiment - Zara, Fp.420 to Savski Marof, Croatia. Feldpost cancel Fp.420C. Card was rerouted to Arbeitpartie in Osijek. Fp.420 was used by 58.Inf.Division. In 5.1917 Austrian Landwehr was renamed Schutzen by Emperor Karl in recognition of its bravery on battlefield.
Adressee in called Vojnik(soldier in Croatian) by sender who also calls him 'Uncle', most probably he was an older soldier who served in Landsturm working units (arbeit partie) , in croatian Pučko-ustaške radničke satnije.
15.02.1945 letter from Pionierschule 2 to Zagreb, Croatia. Civilian Postmark Wasserburg am INN, Feldpost cancel and censor cancels are present. Pionierschule 2 was based in Rosenheim which is 25km away from Wasserburg am Inn.
Very, very late date 15.02.1945 for military mail sent by Croatian personnel training in Reich and posted to Croatia.
24.8.1942 card from Sarajevo to German recruitment command of Domobranstvo in Vinkovci, in Croatian: Njemačko Popunidbeno Zapovjedništvo Hrvatskog Domobranstva, in German: Deutsche Wehrbezirkskommando der kroatischen Landwehr. This command was in charge of keeping evidence of all German Volksdeutche men who had duty of Military service with Croatian Domobranstvo(army). History books state that this command was formed on 15.11.1942 but it must have been earlier as this card from 8.1942 proves it.
Croatian Volksdeutsche were planned to serve with 1.bojna 16.pj.pukovnije (1.battalion,16th.infantry regiment) from late 1941, but this unit was never fully formed and was renamed 1.lovačka bojna(1.jäger battalion) on 21.01.1942. In 1942 1.lovačka bojna was trained by 718.Wehrmacht division in Tuzla an Sarajevo, Bosnia. During 1942 and 1943 1.lovačka bojna was involved in Fighting insurgents in Bosnia and Srijem(Syrmia) under Wehrmacht command. In 1943 unit was transfered to SS and Domobranstvo officially disbanded the unit on 15.05.1943.
This card was written by a Volksdeutsche daughter to her father Rudolf Hertiš(Hertisch) who is Časnički namjesnik(highest NCO rank) in Domobranstvo. Card is in Croatian language even the surname was spelt in Croatian then corrected to German version. She is in Sarajevo and writes that it is horrible there and everyday it gets worse, she is begging her father to move her to Vinkovci, to help her get a job and a place to stay there. She says that people(volksdeutsche) in Sarajevo and even Zagreb are prepearing to move to Germany and asks if people from there(Vinkovci) are getting ready too.
