3.1944 Kroat.Ausbildungs Brigade to Zemun, Croatia

 

 

 15.03.1944 printed card from Fp.59099/C  2nd.Battalion 2.Company of Kroatische Ausbildungs Brigade  to Zemun ,Croatia. Printed folding card has 1943 calendar at the back , usage of such cards is uncommon.  

5.1942 parcel card Inđija to Ortskomandatur Sarajevo

 

 5.1942 parcel card from Inđija in Srijem to soldier serving  in Ortskomandatur in Sarajevo. Ortskomandatur 110 is written in adress but this is wrong , in Sarajevo was stationed Ortskomandatur 221. Wrong adress was crossed in blue pencil by post officials. Maybe this was the reason that parcel traveled for over 2 months before being delivered, posted 15.05 and  arrived 23.07 in Sarajevo.  At the time Inđija was populated by German Volksdeutsche and someone was sending food to a soldier serving with Werhmacht.

12.1915 K.u.K card froom 13.Sapper batallion to Zagreb

 

 

 13.12.1915 Christmas card to Osijek from 6.company of  13.Sapper batallion. Mailed from Fp.304 that was used by 57.Infantry Division on Italian (Isonzo) front. This card is written in German with some Croatian words used in text. Mail from 13.Sapper batallion is rare.

 2.1944 letter from Kroatische Ausbildungs brigade to Zemun NDH . Mailed from Fp.57364 F - III.Ausbildungs Bataillon, 6.kompanie. Chemical chensorships blue line is visible. Chemical censorship on mail from Kroat.Ausbildung brigade is rare.

 

6.1944 3.Lovački Zdrug in Dollersheim to Croatia

 

 14.06.1944 card from Ratni Sud 3.lovačkog zdruga (Military court of 3.Jäger brigade) based in Dollersheim Dt.Reich(today Austria) to Tuzla NDH. As Nikica Barić writes in his book about Domobranstvo  3.lovački zdrug was supposed to undergo training in Dollersheim in 05.1944 , this card confirmes it.

Beautiful units cancel , this is the first card from Ratni Sud of any unit that i have ever seen.  Sender notes that mail to him is to be posted via Glavna Sabirna Bojna Pošta in Zagreb, transit cancel Zagreb in upper right corner. 

Trilingual(Croatian,German,Italian)card for military mail was used, this cards were printed for a shot time before Italian surrender in 9.1943. Such cards are rare , this one used in 1944 from  Reich to Croatia is possibly unique.

2.1915. K.u.K 53.Inf.Rgt IV.bat. to Zagreb

 27.02.1915  card from K.u.K 53.Infantry regiment,  IV. batallion, 13.company  to Zagreb via Fp.61 - 8th Gebirgs(mountain) brigade.  IV. battalion fought with 8.Gbr.brigade in Serbia at the time and was soon moved to Italian border. Batallion was there when treacherous Italians declered war on 23.05.1915. and spent the rest of the war on the Italian front.  53.Inf.Rgt mostly recruited men from  Zagreb area. Handwritten censor mark in red Censuriert.
