 21.02.1944 feldpost cover mailed to Reich,  from Fp.46007 Schlachterei Kompanie 369(Kroat.) , which was part od 369.Croatian infantry division.

8.1918 K.u.K Kriegsmarine, Donauflottille to Split





10.08.1918 postcard from K.u.K Kriegsmarine,  Donauflottille (Danube river fleet) to Spalato(Split) in Dalmatia,  Croatia. Text is in Italian language, but both sender and recipient have Croatian surnames. Mailed via Fp.299-b which served Donauflottille command and later KuK units in Romania.

Card was mailed from hospital ship Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand, ships fate was very interesting. It was build in 1853 and scrapped in 2019 . About Donauflottile you can read in many book and this year an  excellent book by Zvonimir Freivogel was published in Croatian.

11.1944 - 1.DOMOBRANSKA JURIŠNA BOJNA to Sisak



 15.11.1944 card mailed from Otoka near Bosanska Krupa to Sisak.  Mailed without stamps, in red is handwritten Bojna pošta( military mail-Feldpost). Military cancel reads 4.SAT 1.DOM.(OBRANSKE) JURIŠNE BOJNE. (4.Company  1.Domobran Storm/Assault Battalion.)

During 1942 two independant Domobran Storm/Assault battalions were formed.
1.Storm battalion after formation in 1942 was stationed around Zagreb, in December 1942 it was part of Banjalucki Zdrug(Brigade), and at the end of 1944 was stationed around Otoka and Bosanska Krupa.
2.Storm battalion was in first part of  1943 stationed in Slavonia.

In 9.1943 both Storm Batallions had around 1100 soldiers, so each had more then 500 men.

This is first mail from Domobran Storm Batallions i have seen, it is extremely rare.

9.1943 Ortskomandatur 221 in Sarajevo to Reich


 26.09.1943 Feldpost cover mailed from Fp.56861 - Ortskomandatur 221 located in Sarajevo (then in Croatia) to Chemnitz in Reich. Feldpost and unit cancel are visible, but cover is without visible censor markings
