9.1916 XXIII.Marschbatallion of 53. Inf.Rgt. to Pleternica, Croatia.


 

 


 04.09.1916 postcard from 1.march company 23.march batallion of 53.Infantry Regiment mailed to Pleternica in Slavonia, Croatia. Hand written in pencil Zenz. - censored . At the time war was going on for 2 years and already 23.march-replacement batallion was raised as huge losses were sustained on Galician front. Mailed via Feldpost 136 - used by  Quartiermeister abteilung of the 7th.Army on the Russian front. Replecement (Marsch) batallions used different Feldpost services of units stationed in the area they passed on the way to front.

08.1944 - 392.inf.div.(kroat.) registered official letter

 


03.08.1944 Official registered letter from 392.inf.div.(kroat.) or Blue division to Gottingen, Reich. Mailed from Fp 28663 - 3.behelfsmäßige Fahrkolonne Infant.Divisions-Nachschub-Trupp 392 (Kroat.) . On the front of the cover is Feldpost cancel with divisions Kenn number 771 ,this number is also applied on the R-sticker. Registered mail from Croatian Wehrmacht divisions (369, 373 and 392) is rare.

At the back arrival cancel Gottingen 07.08.1944, it took only 4 days for letter to arrive for from Croatia to Germany , this days it takes the same time or even longer....

9.1942 parcel card Žepče to IX.topnički sklop, Sarajevo.


12.9.1942 parcel card sent from Žepče to Sarajevo to a member of 2.Gorski vod, IX.topnički sklop (2.mountain platoon of 9th.cannon battery). On the 1 July 1942 topovski vod III.Bojne Vojne krajine was renamed and become 2.Gorski vod IX.topnički sklop.

 2.1915 Feldpost card from 2/96 Inf.Rgt. to Zagreb . Mailed via Fp.109 which served 17.Infantry division which was fighting in Galicia. 96.Infantry regiment recruited from area around Karlovac in Croatia.

Feldpost card from Fp.43370A to Zemun,Croatia. Text is in Croatian and there is no date on the card but it was certainly mailed between 3/1943 an 10/1944 as Fp.43370 was used from 3.1943 till the end of the war by the Truppen-Übungsplatz-Kommandantur Slav.Brod, dann Truppen-Übungsplatz-Kommandantur Slav-Brod u. Kommandostab Waffenschule Heeresgruppe E and Zemun was conquered by Red Army and Yugoslav partisans on 22.10.1944
