ENG: This blog is about fieldpost of Croatian soldiers in WWI and WWII.Feel free to use data and pics from this site, but if you publish them name their source, this blog

7.1944 - II.Lovački zdrug to Zagreb.
17.VII.1944 photograph of Bihać mailed as a postcard from a member of II. lovački zdrug ( II. Jäger brigade) to Zagreb. Writer notes that he is in Donji Lapac on a course for platoon leaders. Card was at the right top marked by sender as Bojna pošta - Feldpost. Bihać postal cancel was applied, often postal officials marked such cards for postage due (potro) to be paid, but not this one. Croatian soldiers were required to pay postage for their mail, even official mail was supposed to be franked by official stamps.
